Northside ISD Campuses Recognized for School Counseling Excellence

The Texas School Counselor Association recently awarded 74 Northside ISD campuses the CREST award for excellence in school counseling for the 2023-24 school year.

CREST, which stands for Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas, is presented each year to schools that demonstrate a commitment to using the guidance and counseling program to improve students’ lives in a variety of areas.

All three of Veranda’s NISD-zoned schools – Lieck Elementary, Bernal Middle, and Brennan High – received the prestigious recognition.
