Lieck Elementary Earns Purple Star Designation

Lieck Elementary School is among over 100 Northside ISD schools to secure a Purple Star Designation for the 2024-25 school year. Awarded by the Texas Education Agency, this designation honors schools that go the extra mile to anticipate and accommodate the unique needs of students from military families. 

Purple Star schools surpass expectations by designating a campus military liaison, aiding relocated military families through a campus transition program, and participating in initiatives like Military Family Month, among many others.
